Gregory M. Fitzgerald
Bio
Gregory Fitzgerald has spent more than three decades defending individuals and small businesses against debt collectors, bankruptcy, creditors, and collection lawsuits. He founded Fitzgerald & Campbell, A Professional Law Corporation, in April 2013 with one goal: to make it California’s premier consumer debt protection law firm. He has represented thousands of clients, tried hundreds of cases, and won countless victories against banks, debt buyers, and collectors.
Greg was born and raised in Los Angeles County. He began his career as an IRS tax auditor. Frustrated by the unfairness he saw in the tax code, he earned a California contractor’s license, worked as a contractor by day, and went to law school at night. He began practicing law in 1991 and opened his own firm in Orange in 1992. By 1998 the firm was in Santa Ana, serving both consumers and small businesses.
In 2006 Greg joined The Seideman Law Firm, P.C., a national consumer rights firm. There he built, trained, and managed a nationwide team of attorneys to fight collection abuse, defend collection lawsuits, and resolve debt. He also served as an Orange County Judge Pro Tem from 1996 to 2006.
Greg lives in Santa Ana with his wife and two sons. Outside the office he enjoys golf, hiking, and time with family.
